## About

V Consulting Services (VCS) is a woman-owned consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. We are the independent leadership partner for institutions that have outgrown fragmented vendors but cannot justify a full-time executive — let alone the three or four they would actually need. As your Business Architect, we take a seat on your leadership team and are accountable for how the organization fits together: the technology, the data, the growth engine, the programs that deliver the mission, and the risk that sits under all of it. We decide what should happen, direct whoever executes, and answer for whether it worked.

Every recommendation is driven by one question: what is best for the organization. VCS accepts no referral fees, commissions, or incentives from any vendor, agency, or tool it recommends.

## The Business Architect Seat

One executive seat, accountable for how the whole organization fits together, across five domains:

1. **Technology** — the roadmap, provider selection and oversight (including the MSP), budget stewardship, and the lifecycle calendar so renewals never surprise anyone.
2. **Data** — where the records live, which system is authoritative, who can see what, and whether the data is fit to decide on, report on, or feed to an AI tool.
3. **Growth** — brand and positioning kept sharp, the journey from stranger to constituent mapped and fixed where it leaks, channels chosen and whoever executes held accountable.
4. **Programs and operations** — the workflows that deliver the mission, automation judgment, and whether the operation survives a departure or an audit.
5. **Risk and AI** — a current, ranked risk register; compliance tracked, not assumed; an honest AI use-case portfolio including the uses to skip; and an AI policy the board can approve, aligned to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.

In every domain, the seat goes exactly four questions deep: What should we do — and what should we deliberately not do? What should it cost, and is it worth it? Who should do it, and are they the right choice? Is it working, and what does the evidence say?

The seat is judgment, not production. It decides, directs, and is accountable — it does not run the help desk, build the website, or send the campaign. Providers execute, and the client can replace any of them without touching VCS. The client approves every decision and owns everything — data, accounts, systems, brand, domains, and documentation — from day one.

## How Engagements Run

Every engagement moves through the same arc — Assess, Transform, Lead — and stops wherever the client wants it to.

1. **Assess** — the Business Architecture Assessment: one fixed-fee look across all five domains, with no overages and no obligation afterward. It produces the architecture map, a ranked risk register, a systems, provider, and channel inventory, a growth and journey read, and a prioritized roadmap the board can act on — including a straight answer on whether ongoing help is warranted, and when it is not.
2. **Transform** — fixed-scope, fixed-fee projects that execute specific findings: data consolidation, security controls, website, automation, AI governance. The client chooses what to execute, in what order, and who executes it — VCS, an outside provider, or their own team.
3. **Lead** — the recurring Business Architect seat: a flat monthly fee, quoted as one number after the assessment and sized to the organization. The seat governs the integrated roadmap, holds providers accountable, stewards the budget, and reports to leadership and the board. Either party may end the engagement with 60 days' written notice.

We serve stewards, not owners: executive directors, managing partners, and boards who spend an institution's money and answer for it.

- Funded nonprofits, associations, foundations, and member organizations — roughly 10 to 75 staff.
- Professional practices — law, accounting, medical, and dental firms with sensitive client records and compliance obligations.
- Public institutions and government agencies, through a dedicated government practice.
